Privacy policy
This policy explains what information [TODO: legal business name] ("LandingLeak", "we", "us") collects through landingleak.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email us at [TODO: contact email].
Who we are
LandingLeak builds and hosts landing pages for heating and air conditioning companies, and runs call tracking and missed call text back for our customers. Our mailing address is [TODO: mailing address].
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Your website address, so we can check your landing page.
- Your mobile number.
- On the application: number of trucks, whether you run Google Ads or Local Services Ads, a monthly ad spend range, your business name, your name, and the best time to call.
- Whether you checked the box to receive text messages, the consent wording shown to you, and when you submitted the form.
Information collected automatically
- The page address you submitted from, the site that referred you, and campaign tags in the link you followed (for example utm_source or fbclid).
- Cookies and similar technology described in "Cookies and advertising" below.
Information from our customers' callers
For paying customers we run call tracking numbers and text back numbers. These record the caller's phone number, the time of the call, whether it was answered, and the text messages sent back, so we can report leads to the customer.
How we use information
- To check your landing page and send you your score.
- To review your application, build a preview of your fixed page, and contact you about it.
- For customers: to run your fixed pages, call tracking and text back, and to send your weekly report.
- To measure how our ads perform and to show LandingLeak ads to people who visited this site.
- To keep our site and services secure and to meet legal obligations.
Mobile numbers and text messages
What numbers we collect. We collect the mobile numbers you enter on our forms. For customers, we also run call tracking numbers and text back numbers, and we receive the phone numbers of people who call or text those numbers.
Why we collect them. We use the number you give us to send service messages about your leak check and your application. For customers, we use these numbers to send service messages about your account and your leads, and to text back callers your team missed.
Consent. Texting is optional. We only text you about your leak check and application if you check the box on our form. If you leave it unchecked we will call you instead.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help, or email us at [TODO: contact email].
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing described in this policy and will not be shared with or sold to any third parties.
We use service providers, such as our phone and text messaging provider, only to deliver these messages on our behalf.
Cookies and advertising
This site uses cookies and the Meta pixel, a tool from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram). We use it to measure how our ads perform, for example how many people who saw an ad later asked for a leak score, and to show LandingLeak ads to people who have visited this site before. This is called retargeting.
When you visit, the Meta pixel may collect information such as the pages you view, the actions you take on this site, and identifiers like your browser and device. Meta uses this under its own data policy: facebook.com/privacy/policy.
You can control whether Meta personalises the ads you see in your Meta ad settings: facebook.com/adpreferences. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
We do not use any other analytics or advertising trackers on this site.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only:
- With service providers that help us run LandingLeak, such as hosting, form processing, and phone and text messaging providers, who may use it only to provide services to us. The text messaging section above limits what we share about mobile numbers and consent.
- With Meta, through the Meta pixel, as described in "Cookies and advertising".
- When required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.
- As part of a merger, sale or transfer of our business, subject to this policy.
How long we keep information
We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires. If you ask us to delete your information, we will unless we need to keep it for a legal reason.
Your choices and rights
- Stop texts at any time by replying STOP.
- Ask us to see, correct or delete your information by emailing [TODO: contact email].
- Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under state privacy laws. We will respond to requests as those laws require.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date.
